Hello,
In reading Dawns blog I thought that it was a good idea, and that I would do one for us as well!! Bear with me I've never done this! I guess I'll start from our wedding and go til current!
Our wedding was June 20th of this year, and although we had some minor hiccups (my videographer cancelled lasat minute, it rained-not rained monsooned lol all day, and the DJ didn't get our announcement song or our first dance right) it was the wedding I dreamed about mostly because James was at the end of the alter waiting for me! James cousin David did an A-M-A-Zing job marrying us, don't think we could've found someone better! The first night we stayed in the Grand America compliments of my fantastic girls friends from work, we were also wisked away in a horse drawn carriage!! Although that kinda turned out like that episode of Seinfeld when Kramer feeds his horse Beef-o-roni lol it was a stinky yet magical ride :). So the next day we drove up to Midway we stayed in a Condo up there for our honeymoon compliments of my likkle brother and his wife. It was a great honeymoon-it was the first vacation we had taken together alone and we loved it at least weekly one of us will say to the other "wish we were back on our honeymoon", we went to this cute little restaurant everyday called breadstix, its on the border of midway and heber it was yummy. Couple of activities that we did, we rented ATV's for an afternoon, we went on the zipline at the olympic park it was super high but super super fun. We ate out a lot and fat, I do believe all the weight lost for the wedding was gained back on the Honeymoon :). We went into parkcity daily and ate at the local eateries and shopped. We were very sad to come back down into the city.
We got back on friday afternoon, and had to pack up our apartment, that had been our home for most of our relationship, it was bittersweet, we were moving up (2 bed; 2 bath washer and dryer) but there were so many memories. We moved into our new place that weekend. Can I just tell you how awesome it is to have a washer and dryer in your home?
So we went back to work that next week; facing reality sucks :).
For my birthday James got me tickets to Cirque Du So Leil which came to the E center right over my birthday!! It was amazing and has made me jones even more to go to vegas and see the other shows!!!
The biggest news is that we have a new addition to our family--- no not a baby well not a human baby lol. We have a fury child, her name is Bella she came home with us on 8/20 and our lives have changed, we no longer are just a couple we are a little family! Its fun and hard and exhausting but I love her so much she's the cutest dog I've ever seen :). She's potty training ok and we just finished her 4rd night of crate training, (mind you mom got a whole nights sleep she didn't wake up once to go potty!!!!) the biggest thing is that she thinks I'm a chew toy which is frustrating the first week I had bruises all over my legs. But she's getting better at that as well. Well I think this post is long enough for my first one I believe that I've got everyone up to speed. I'll post some pictures of everything described soon :)
Love you all
P.S. We just wanted to say thank you to all that helped with our wedding, wether it be monetary, gifts or just being there to support us it was a great day because we had so much support. And I'm working on getting the thank you cards out :)
Loves and kisses
the fosters
